John Deere 40 spin out rims fix

I have a ?53 40 with spin out rims! Around the valve stem is a
ton of rot so much so my inner tube is visible! I?m afraid if I let
it go any longer it will pop the tube. Has anybody had to repair
a spot on a rim like this or have any suggestions? Thanks!

I have repaired many rims over the years even ones I was told could not be saved I have repaired. As for one with just a rusting out valve stem hole that is easy to fix by removing the tire and tire then weld a washer over the hole and grind the weld smooth. I then use truck bed liner spray and coat the rim with it since it helps stop any future rust from being a problem

I've repaired many. Cut out the rust,then weld on a patch. Drill a hole on the other side.
