Just an update to my post from a year ago. I don't know how to link the original post here, sorry.

As found, May 2017.

It has been a busy year searching for used parts with the old patina to replace the sheetmetal and other misc parts that were either missing or damaged, as I don't plan to paint it.
Thank you to all the fine people here that give out their wisdom, advice, and knowledge when those such as me come here asking questions. This site is a terrific resource, and I am grateful for the help I have received here.

After 40+ years in the repair business I've discovered Deere's are the most "re-build-able"tractors around.imho

Looks good.....did you buy new rear rims and tires????

Not really. The 4020 only had 15.5's on it, which were junk, and looked too small anyway. My 730 Diesel had a nice set of 16.9's which is what you now see on the 4020. Bought a nice pair of 151 Firestone 15.5's on rims from Craigslist to put on the 730.
