DLTX carb float retainer screws

How would you remove the two buggered up slotted head screws that retain the float on a dltx-7 ? There is not enough grip to support a screw driver. Thx

Heat them with an acetylene torch. let them cool, they will screw out.

You should be able to grip them with needle nose vise grips.
You might also have to heat them if rusted in.

Anytime you have brass screwed into cast or steel just heat the brass component directly until the flame flashes green and then let cool completely.
