Hello All,

Ive recently purchased a 37 B with a bad set of splines on the clutch side of things. I have read about swapping out a crank from a later B and swapping around piston rings. what cranks work, and what all is needed to swap this out from a donor tractor?

Youngfordkid 47 and older should bolt up with no problems. Will add 1/4 inch stroke so pistons will move 1/8 inch both ways. Make sure there is no ring groove on the head side of the block. Don't know if this will move the pistons far enough back so the rings come out the back of the block. If they do and using stock pistons move the oil ring to the where the last compression ring is and use 2 compression rings. Not using the block to case gasket will move the block back .030 inch. Use sealer instead. Lynn
