Model M loader?

Has anyone had any success putting a loader on an M?
I need a small utility tractor for odd jobs and I have a 51 M in good shape.

I used to have a M with a #36? loader. It made a decent light duty package. If you had a full bucket of dirt there was almost no steering it. But for light work, moving brush, carrying a bucket of fire wood or a small (3-400#)round bale,it did OK. The tractor is narrow,so you had to be carefull on a slope, got a bit teetery even with the bucket all but dragging. Wheel weights were a must have

From my experience by adding Many odd ball loaders on different tractors . I would not do it if your steering is good cause it won't be for long. I have an MT and has very tight steering and I want to keep it that way. If you do decide to do I would look in to what the new sector gear and spool up front is going to cost you . They are great little tractors for cultivating ,plow small disc , wagon pullers if the wagon is small, mowers if you have a belt pulley, I think If I put anything on the front of it maybe add a 5' snow plow and work off the plow hanger underneath it if you have one...and use the hydraulics off the rear arms for power lift...with you touch tone controls. It's going to be an armstrong steering and thats no fun. Im changing my MT over to a 3 point and keeping the work on the rear where it belongs ...Also many people have damaged the front grilles on there tractors when using a loader by the load swing and smacking it ..just my 2 cent's.
