Storing 2 cylinder/ valve springs

Putting some tractors away for the winter. I want to make sure there is no pressure on the valve springs. At what position should the flywheel be in?

On two cylinder models such as the A or G etc., I turn the flywheel to TDC on number one cylinder compression stroke then turn 90 degrees so firing mark on flywheel is at 12:00. All valves will be closed.

All valves are closed when the flywheel is one quarter turn before "L.H.Exhaust Open" marks that are cast into it line up with the top of the cover plate on the side of the case. Or, turn the flywheel until you get TDC on the L.H. cylinder, continue turning through the power stroke, but stop before you feel compression building up on R.H. cylinder. You can feel like a dead spot when there is no valve spring pressure when rocking the flywheel back and forth just a little bit.
