How does a person pull off the wheel hubs on an 830? looks to be a tapered hub. Do you remove the two bolts on the end of the axle and then use them as pusher bolts? Anyone have any experience? looks to me to be a challenge.

Removed both wheel hubs from an 820 a few years ago. Used a 12 ton hydraulic jack and a chain around the hub.
After removing the cap you will need to put a spacer on the end of the axle for the jack to push against. One was a real bitccc and the other one came off easily. Don't remember exactly but I think we used two jacks on the tough one. As all the sheet metal was removed I think we used one jack on the inside of the of the hub pushing against the main case. Once you get it to move just slightly it will come off easily. You are correct, the axle is tapered slightly.
