Good manufacturer of an overunning clutch? 60

Ive been running an 8 foot john deere MX8 behind my 60 for most of the year starting this spring. I have used it maybe 10 times or so for long periods of time. I put on an overrunning clutch to help not burn up the brake plate in the 60 as they are rather small. But my overrunning clutch split in half yesterday. Wondering of any good brands of overrunning clutches out there that someone could suggest that would fit on a 60. I have live power.

I not had any problems with the ones I buy at Orscheln's but not sure of what brand they are.

If you have live pto there is no need for an overriding clutch, just release the lever enough to disengage the pto,but don't let the lever all the way down so as not to engage the brake until the mower stops spinning.

Yes that should handle what your doing but if you blow up a couple cheap ones pretty good down payment on the good one

I'm also a little puzzled at the need for the override...However I can tell you from experience if you don't do top rpm wide open the thrust at lower throttle can damage or destroy your ujoints….the surge of the stroke will tend to tear up stuff....there was really not many bushhogs in use with these old tractors and many folks preferred 4-6 cylinders. A friend of mine trashed his transmission trying to run at low throttle and jerked the heck out of his drive gear....
