I have a JD 620 that the lights quit working on. Tractor starts fine but lights wont work. I have checked the power at the lights and have 12 volts. I am assuming it is a grounding problem but cant figure out what ground might affect this. any help is appreciated.

In the front lights there's a little tin tap that is supposed to make contact from the light socket to the outer shell casing. Pretty common for this little tab to quite making contact and sometimes allow the light to make a good ground if you push in on the light lens. Your best bet is to screw a ground wire into the light socket and ground it to the frame somewhere. The back light always has the hardest time grounding because of the seat. A ground wire here can solve a lot of problems too.
