JD Parts bad news?

I just looked up some parts using the old JD parts. There is a note at the top saying the following:

JDPC will be decommissioned by 31 October 2018. Please start using Parts ADVISOR? (https://partsadvisor.deere.com).

Unless someone knows something I don't looks like we are all going to have to deal with the new systems if we want to look up our own parts. I guess we just got lucky they let it work as long as they did after the new system went in.

The new site isn?t that bad and it?s easy to search for parts once you select the model you have then type in sway block or rocker arm and the parts come up

I don't have a lot of experience with it yet but I have two orders in with the new system. Obviously it is different but seemed to work fine overall.

I haven't figured out how to leave and come back into an order I am working on but once I click checkout again it takes me to the order I was working on. So all was good but human factors seemed lacking in that regard.

Good Luck.

Paul

Some times the part come up. More often there is a list of 50 different ones and none of them are what your looking for. Try looking for the MFWD clutch on a JD 4450 and you will see what I mean.

I haven't had any issues finding parts on the new site. I haven't ordered parts through it though. Just got part numbers and called them in to the dealer. They do drop off's once a week, so I just call them in to have them delivered.

I?ve not played with it to much but have had pretty good luck now that I?ve stated navigating the new site some . I wish they had left it alone I use to be able to find all kinds of stuff on that site but have given up and just look for the easy stuff I don?t even try the all males parts lookup anymore or the bearing and seal search stuff don?t even know if that?s even still there
