John Deere GP oil pressure ?

I have a 1931 GP that has the red head gauge on it. The problem I see is when I load or unload the tractor from the trailer is the gauge will drop
All the way down for about 30 to 40 seconds and then pop back up and stay up. It always pop up when it starts and stays up except for this.
My trailer is a car hauler with 15" tires so it's not very steep. What could cause this and should I be alarmed. What are your thoughts? Thanks

Is the oil level at the full mark? If it is low when you back down the incline the oil could run away from the pickup and loose its prime, then when you level out it picks up and starts pumping again. Another thing could be a cracked oil line in the crankcase. It pumps when the oil level is above the crack,then looses prime when the oil runs away from it on an incline. Just a guess?

pretty common,. Put a couple of extra quarts of oil in it.
