8630 hi/low

Is it possible to put a hi/low back in an 8630 in two pieces instead of it being all together? I am going to put one back in
that a customer took out in two pieces and am wondering what i need to put it back in?

This site doen't charge by the word, why not tell us "the rest of the story"?

WHY was the two-speed removed, and what repairs were made (if any)?

NOT sure if it can be dreplaced in pieces, or WHY you'd want to, but not really a big deal to replace/install in one piece.

I have done enough of them to know what he is talking about,, and the answer is No,, you can not put it back in in 2 chunks,,only in one piece,, twisting it a bit as it goes in and careful not to bang up the shift pipe on the side..
