I?m currently looking at a 620. What are some of the major things to look at? What goes wrong with this model? It runs fine and sheet metal is there. Live pto and power steering. Thanks

Start by checking fluid levels. Smell the engine oil for gas because the automatic fuel shutoffs are well known to leak gas into crankcase. Check pto oil level for being overfilled with gear oil. Engage the clutch and lift up and down on the pulley to feel for how much slop the right main bearing has. A worn out right main can cause engine oil to leak past the seal and into first reduction housing. With the clutch still engaged move the clutch lever back and forth without disengaging it but enough to get a feel for crankshaft end play. If there's a lot of crank endplay it could mean a broken thrust washer. Start it up and look for exhaust manifold leaks. Test out the power steering to see how easy it is to steer and/or if the wheels drift. Take it out for a drive and listen to the first reduction gear and transmission gears.

I'm sure others will chime in with other things but these are a few I would look at.
