bucket forward tilt on the 3 spool valve does not work, if you can get the gravity right, bucket will tilt forward,, cyclinders are fine, it pulls towards the tractor the way its supposed too, my hyd. shop buddy thinks the spool is work out? just wondering if it could be a stuck safety/pressure relief? the lift for the bucket has that, then it resets itself when you set the bucket down.. need to get this fixed/or replaced really soon. thx Steve

There MAY be dual lip/chevron seals on the cylinder pistons (one side seals for extension, the other side seals for retraction), and one MAY be worn, torn, or missing, letting oil bypass in that direction.

The cylinders are connected in parallel, so all it takes is one seal to fail and BOTH cylinders will be affected.

In my experience, a FAR more likely scenario than some failure in the valve.

Other things can go wrong in cylinders, as well, see thread linked below...
Defective cylinder

? ,, had the cyclinders rebuilt,, i'll double check valve for flow, maybe even have to pressure check it.. that's why I had them rebuilt was because of this, thought surely I misdiagnosed it.

Please post back and let us know once you've solved this.

In my experience, I've never seen a valve "spool" issue, but did see a 2 spool loader valve a few years ago that acted all funky.

Our best GUESS was that there was an internal crack in the casting, or perhaps a flaw in the casting packed with casting slag or casting sand that opened up after YEARS, in that instance, a new 2-spool valve solved the problem.

Switch the hoses on the valve and see if the problem switches directions on the bucket. If it does then the trouble is in the valve. IF it does not then the cylinders are still having an issue.
