I apologize if this topic has been covered before (likely). I recently acquired a 2010C that refused to start. I got that fixed without a lot of trouble, but now I think I have a major problem: it refuses to move in either direction.
This machine has the H-L-R trans. I replaced the trans filter and filled the trans with new oil. I believe the clutch is working because the noise is different with clutch in or out, and in gear or neutral. However, the forward/neutral/reverse lever does nothing at all. Of course, that means the machine does not move under its own power.
Question: does this machine have any kind of lockout that prevents motion if the brake pedal is depressed?
I'm thinking maybe a broken final drive pinion? Could a hydraulic failure be causing this? Any insight will be appreciated.
