JD 4520 Powershift

Have a JD 4520 Powershift. Steering quits when you step on the clutch. Have checked screen and filter, have taken priority valve apart, not stuck. The pipe to the rockshaft gets warm after a couple of minutes not using anything so probably a leak back there, but should still have steering. Why does it quit when when clutch is down and what to look for?

The transmission is shifting and working well??

yes everything works when the clutch is out, but like when you are backing and using the clutch you will lose steering

Wow,,it sure sounds like an issue common with sychro ranges,,,My guess is some thing in the clutch operating valve,,but I am still not sure why this is happening....wish it was here in my shop,,it sounds like a challenge to figure out...
