1520 Deere Rosa Injector Pump Leak

I have 1520 diesel with a Rosa Master electric cut off injector pump. There is a leak around the throttle linkage. Is this
repairable and if so can a shade tree mechanic like myself do the job? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

If it's like most I see in for repair there will be more going wrong inside that's causing the leak. Most likely will need a new brass drive shaft pilot bushing epoxied in place as well.

That leak is a messenger. It is trying to let you know how old ALL the seals are in that pump. If you don't repair it correctly, down the road the drive seal will start to weep. This adds diesel into the engine oil. Repairing an engine after you wash out the bearings, is way more money than a simple reseal job at a pump shop. Tons of good guys out there. Just call around and pick someone who you feel is a good fit for you. Not all pump shops are wading in waist deep money. Some will help you for way less than you may think. Phone calls are cheap so make a few and price shop. There are a few of us out there who believe in treating folks right. Al
