Hi Guys,
About a year ago I was having issues with the power steering on my 4020. I started with rebuilding the the front steering motor which did not help so I bought and installed a rebuilt steering valve. The steering worked great for about a year but a few weeks ago when raking hay all at once the tractor would not steer to the right and chattered when turning left.
I contacted my dealer that I bought the valve from and they were able to get me a replacement valve at no cost. I am hesitant to install it not knowing what caused the rebuilt one to fail and I am concerned the rest of the system could have debris in it. At this point how far do I go to make sure I will not have issues with this one?
