LI head bolt torque

At our local show, a fellow stopped by our area and asked if anyone knew what the head bolt torque for a late "LI" should be. No one in our club knew that, and I don't have any technical data on "LI" tractors, but I told him I would ask around. Any thoughts? Was anything ever published about that data for the "LI"?

Why wouldn't it be the same as an LA? Wasn't it the same motor?

Probably is the same, but we don't know what the torque is supposed to be on an "LA", either......

Thanks for the response David. Wasn't Cedar Rapids, but was Cedar Falls.... What manual has this information? 42 foot-pounds of torque for head bolts sounds kinda light, but then, I don't even know what diameter they are.

The L,LA, LI service manual has it listed, gotta hunt, but in there.
