needle seat

If you are asking about the carburetor inlet needle valve and seat for a 70 gasser, parts catalog shows #233-543, a M/S number that was recognized by the DEERE parts system buy us nla from DEERE.

If you GOOGLE "233-543", several sources for a modern replacement version (probably with a Viton tip) will come up.

You could try contacting Roberts Carburetor or Marks Carburetor and ask what they have to offer.
 
Comes up viton needle and seat combo as 233-543 only, might have to rob some old parts to get the all steel version with the same number. SM-2024 covers this carb and with repro pricing about 30 to 40 might be a sweet deal.

For example initial settings for load and idle done generically are equal at 1 and 1/2 turns out, but this manual suggest 2 and 1/2 for load screw and 1 and 1/2 for idle. Just enough of a difference to give one say 5 minutes of minor trouble.
