John Deere 60 smoking clutch

Decided to grease the pulley bearing on my JD 60 today. Pulled it apart (I relined it earlier this summer) and shot some grease into the bearing, made a new gasket for the fork housing and put it back together. Had real nice snap to it but when I started her up I noticed the clutch drum was spinning Even while disengaged so I adjusted the pulley brake to stop it. However when I engaged the clutch afterward it stalled the tractor out. So I backed off the pulley brake a bit started her and engaged the clutch. That's when I noticed smoke coming out of the drum nearest the main case. So I have just disassembled it but I have found nothing wrong yet. Let me know what you think. Thanks,

Pete

figured it out. The pin in the clutch fork assembly that the stop bolt contacts had fallen through the cardboard on the pallet I was working on. Put it back and all good
