My 70 PTO clutch is the old style with the bend-over cam locking tabs. I adjusted it about 20 years ago w/o any problems I can remember, but my eyesight (and the rest of me) has deteriorated since then. I can't tell for sure what I'm looking at through the hole and I sure don't don't want to try and pry on the wrong thing. I can get all sorts of photos of the "newer" ones using the set screw. Does anyone know of a place where I can get a photo or drawing of the "tab"locking type? Failing that can someone tell me 1) Does the tab fold towards the front or rear of the tractor? and 2) are the slots they bend into the same as for the set screw type or bigger? Thanks a lot for helping a "senior citizen"!!
