Greasing John Deere B pulley clutch bearing

It was brought to my attention by members of this forum that the pulley bearing on JD 2 cylinder tractors should be repacked with grease periodically. My question is do I have to completely pull the clutch and fork and drive the bearing and retainer apart in order to do so or is there some way of getting grease into this bearing with only the facings and driver removed? Thanks,

You don't need to remove the bearing to
repack it. Pull the operating fork and
slide the pulley off the crank. Now you can
pack the nearing with high temperature
grease.
