Narrow front for 2510

What Rollomatic fits a 2510? Are they all
interchangeable by the 20 series or are
they different?

Also, what would I expect to pay for one? I
saw one on Ebay for $550 and saw another
listing of a lot of 3 for $300, although 1
looked like it was for a B.

There was a regular and heavy duty. We used a heavy duty
from a 4020 on a 520 back in the day.
You should get a heavy duty if you can.

They will all interchange. The heavy duty ones are worth more but on a JD 2510, without a loader, the regular would be fine. A good regular one will easily bring $400-500. A good heavy duty one will bring a few hundred more. Now I mean good ones. You need to check that the spindle arms are not loose and that the internal gears are not stripped.

You can use either a regular or a heavy duty on a 2510. At a swap meet last year I bought three rollomatics all for less that $150 each and two had hubs on them. Watch Craigslist as they often show up on there for around $250-350. Just check the play in the gears as many of them are wore out or even have broken teeth. You can also get a pedestal front end as well then you do not have to worry about bad or worn gears but they usually bring more as the tractor pullers like them. Tom

Don't know where you are from, there is a big swap meet last weekend of this month near Lesuer, MN. Pioneer power, if you can not find it there you don't need it.

Is this what's considered a pedestal front end? It came with a 2510 I bought last year.
