That's the one I've been looking for . So is it 6v or 12v to the points ? Someone was telling me 12v power to the points to start it and 6v once it's running .

This diagram has full 12 volts--no external resistor-- coil. No added resistor and no starting bypass.

The coil primary is wound to apply 12 volts directly. There is no resistor in the coil can that is in series with the coil primary.

Agree with [b:654c4848f0]rvirgil_KS[/b:654c4848f0] that "[i:654c4848f0]The coil primary is wound to apply 12 volts directly. There is no resistor in the coil can that is in series with the coil primary.[/i:654c4848f0]"

You might also check the 12 volt coil on your tractor.

Some 12 volt coils require an external resistor.

Take a look at the photo below of the 12 volt coil on "52" our 1952 Model A.

Note the label [b:654c4848f0]12V EXTERNAL RESISTOR REQUIRED[/b:654c4848f0] on the coil.

Take a look at the photos of the external resistor on "52" our 1952 Model A.
