51 g pedestal

I have a 51 g and I am looking to lighten up for pulling. I have a split pedestal on the front with the rollomatic. What other pedestal will fit?

Since you already have the split pedestal,
an option lighter than the rol-o-matic is
The dual tire non rol-o-matic tricycle.My 60 had one of those.
Lighter front rims are another option.

A pedestal from a tricycle Dubuque can be made to work on it. Rims and tires from them are a lot lighter too.

A decently powered '51 G needs the weight of the normal front end stuff, I know, I've got two of 'em. If you "shave off" some of the stock weight you'll have to add weight out front anyway...unless you're pulling in 5th of 6th gear.

The idea is to move the front weight out in front as far as possible. Adding a 100 lbs 2 feet further to the front makes a huge difference.
