on our 4430 when you turn the blower to high speed both motors will run for a few seconds then turn off will run all day in low
speed replaced both motors a last year since one was out thinking one of the new motors is drawing too much causing breaker to
open is there anything else to look for

Figure out (with a test light) which of the two breakers is opening, and check for loose or heated connections at the breaker, clean, tighten, replace breaker as needed. a bad breaker there is NOT uncommon.

If you have a DC ammeter you can check for too much load at the breaker (which would indicate a bad motor) before messing with the breaker.

If your tractor has this style(SN> 065976-) circuit breaker support the nut on breaker can loosen causing elect continuity problems. I'd suggest to check all breaker nuts for tightness. The breakers are accessed by removing cowling on LH side in frt of dash.

I worked on that problem on two 40 series. Jim and Bob hit it on the head for those two problems.

One was a bad connection of the main feed to the circuit breaker panel and the other was just an old tired circuit breaker.

If and when you find the circuit breaker as Bob described, me, I would just throw a new one at it for a start.

good luck.

Funny looking circuit breaker support.
Adding to what TX Jim said...
The nuts loosen because there was no plate
behind them allowing the nuts to sink into
the plastic usually from melting.
The replacement support should have the plates.

AW come on D- if you live long enough to get as old as me you'll make mistakes similar to the OOPS I corrected.

Photo lo0oks right to me.

I probably am as old as you.
I made my biggest mistakes when I was young.
Photo looks right to me also.... now!
