I know this is going to be a crazy question but when my tractor is idling it makes a noise I can best describe as sucking air in the exhaust stack. The tractor has not had any major engine work as it was clean, tight and ran good when I started tearing it down. It has a chrome straight pipe on it now. I have replaced the plugs, wires, rebuilt carb (professionally done) runs great, idles very slow has great power and tests 120 psi on compression with only 3 rotations. I have stopped looking for the cause but would like to hear from experts on what may be causing the sound.
