5020, 6030, 7520 comparisons

Humor me...what are ideas about traction, pulling H.P. on these tractors...I have a 5020 with turbo at 175H.P., weighing about 24,000 lbs. Its pulls good. How would a 6030 and a 7520 compare? I have seen 6030's outpull 8430's easily at tractor pulls...but in a field of plowed ground the 4wd has got to make a difference. Same engine in 7520 as 6030, should make up to 275 as most 6030's can, correct? Lots of 6030's farming at 250h.p....what's your feelings? Looking at a 7520 possibly.

The 6030 open stations sell well.As far as in the field the 7520 would be much better at same weight.Similar to a 4WD pick compared to a 2WD if traction is an issue. The 50 series w/ MFWD made row crop tractors able to compete with smaller 4wd,but still along ways from the larger ones for heavy tillage.

Wouldn't want to pay the repair bills on a 7520 that's for sure. If you did get a 7520 just keep it for parades! ha ha ha
The guy you got your 6030 from has 3 7520's and 2 7020's. He uses that 7520's.
I'd keep with your 5020 for field work.
