I se unstyled A that had a large headlight mounted on top of the radiator. Is this a add on or factory item I have not seen another one. I am restoring one now and would like to add one on mine if I could find one. If anyone knows were I could find one with bracket please let me know please. Thanks...

For some reason K&W pops into my mind as the maker of the light kit ? I'm guessing you could order the add on kit from the dealer.

Mike M I think is correct. I'm thinking K&M was the company that made them. You had one big light up front and could've gotten one to mount on the floor pan facing rearward. I think that there was a head light kit for sale on here last summer. That is the only one I have ever seen for sale though.

The Gen system ,LAMPS,2 and Mounting brackets if you were to find some one that would sell you a complete out fit, $1000.00 and up. Still interested?

They were a dealer add on and were made by K&W Ignition Company in Cleveland, OH. The complete system and parts are listed in the Deere 45R parts book. The system consisted of a generator, generator bracket, a split pulley (that fit on the fan shaft), two drum style lights with cast light brackets and a belt (V belt on the 35 B and flat leather belt on the 34 A). They were wired using armored wire which has a wound metal outer cover with metal twist connectors on each end. I have two of them, one on a 35 B (pic attached) and one on a 34 A.
I don't have any for sale right now but the lights by themselves pop up on Ebay occasionally. The generators are hard to find, especially one that works. I have sold a couple of complete, correct, working systems in the past 3 years and they brought good money.

They really set the tractor off at a show or parade.
