I have a number got above the PTO on a brass tag. It is T31R3020125R. Is that the number to find the year? If so what is the year of that JD? Thanks Stan

You can look it up on tractor data . com. I looked i think its a 1971 maybe someone else will confirm this.

20125, In my book, It says it's a early 68" ; With 20399 serial # beginning 68"

The last S.N# used in 1967 20398.So 1967 is correct.My info states 15500as first 1967 differing with Pete

Kinda interesting if the first was 12000 the last 31130 that makes 19130 and there were 12,909 made leaving 6221 unaccounted S.Ns.Hard to fiqure out their system.
