Just purchased my first G and have a few questions. First off, its a 1939 ser #8382. Should it have a flat spoke steering wheel? Anyone know where I can get a set of shutters for the front? Would anyone with a G production register be willing to tell me what the book says about this particular tractor? Thanks guys.

Thanks for the build date and wheel info. Funny thing is, I found the tractor in central Michigan and it has cut off wheels front and rear.
 
The first G that I bought back in 1979 was a 1938,It had round spoke wheels, front and 36 inch rear wheels.
I gave $25.00 for the tractor, after I got it to run I had aboot $400.00 in it.
When I sold it at auction in 1989 it brought $2,800.00.
The prices sure have changed since then.
Back then scrap iron wasn't bringing much.
