4020 carburetor

Guy brought me a 1967 4020 gas that has sat 10+ years to fix. Put in a battery and fresh gas and it kinda runs. Is there anything to be careful with in the carb (USX35) and how does the suction line come out of the tank? Something is stuck in the line and the needle bearings from the throttle shaft were laying in the air horn.

End of line attaches to shutoff under tank. Access through hole centered under casting above and in front of the front axle. The shutoff fitting has a short stand pipe to keep water out. Beside that fitting is the drain valve to occasionally drain water from beneath the fuel and/or drain the tank. Instead of trying to remove that line I would remove both ends and blow out.
