Anyone else having problems with a new series -- mine is 5065E. After 6 hours of shredding flat level ground, rear hitch quit lifting. Sounds like it is sucking air. Front loader still works 90% perfectly.

My JD CS guy said another customer with a 5065E had exactly the exact same problem after shredding 1st day. Dealer had to replace hitch lift valve

If the loader is still working alright then the hydraulic pump is working correctly. I would be that there is a problems in the three point lift system. Could be a valve sticking when hot or a cracked housing/valve leaking or sticking when hot.

I would hold the dealers feet to the fire to get it fixed. The further along you get the warranty will get harder to get done. Especially if it is a bad housing. JD likes to think they never make anything that is bad from the factory. Which they don't do much of but sometimes things happen.

Thanks for useful replies. It's been at the dealer 5 days now, and they think they MIGHT can at least look at it next week. This week should be last week of most harvesting in the area, so I hope dealer can analyze & order parts next week.
