2030 john deere

on my diesel 2030 john deere, there are two lines coming from the hydralic pump at the front of tractor. These lines go to transmission case. one of the lines is connected with the brakes. The other goes into the transmission case area. One of these lines gets the metal ball and spring, does anyone know which? Thanks

A picture is worth a 1000 words.Parts key # 25 is the ball

There is one line with low pressure transmission supplied
oil supplying the pump that has an anti-drain back valve. The
other line from the pump back is 2250 supply for power
steering, rockshaft and scc's. There is a third line, low
pressure excess flow from the cooler and tank back to the
transmission housing. A fourth weenie little line also exists
from the front pump seal to the trans case. That 4th line if
kinked or broken has caused many perfectly good front pumps
to be rebuilt.

Do you think line 13 or line 17 goes into the brake area, so when you apply pressure to brakes, it stops tractor? The other goes to trans case area? Thanks, Joe R.

IIRC(been a long time) line #17 plugs in on the inside hole and line #13 on the outer hole.

Your help is appreciated. Thanks, JOe
