2010 engagement shaft lever question

I recently acquired a 63 John Deere 2010. I stepped on the lever on the left side near the clutch, and now the hydraulics and power steering are no longer functioning. After doing some research I've discovered this is the engagement shaft lever. Our 3020 has something similar that we use to disengage the hydros when it's cold. However, how do I get it back? I've tried to just step on it again with it running on nothing happens.

Thanks for any advice!

Pull up on handle with engine not running to engage coupling(parts key #25) on shaft(parts key #41).

Thank you very much for your reply! However, the lever appears to be all the way up already. With the tractor off I pulled up on it but could not get anything to happen. Is there some button or something that you have to pull while you lift up on it? On our 3020 you have to pull a knob out while you push the lever back in. I hope it's something like that and not something I've broken...

Also, I don't know if this helps or not, but when the tractor starts up the three point lifts up, but moving the levers to the right of the seat do nothing in adjusting it up or down.

To add to Tx Jim's diagram , remove the cover on the bottom of the bell housing and look in to see if pin # 33 is still in place. Only if it were that simple..If no problems appear from the visual inspection, your only choice is to pull the hdy pump to inspect the inner coupling # 25 and associated parts. The good news is, you can pull the pump out the bottom with out splitting the tractor. Take out the bolts completely before lowering the pump down as you will need to rotate it and leaving the bolts in stops the pump from rotating to come out. Not all bolts need to be pulled ONLY 3, start with the two outside ones in the top row they should be 5-1/4 " long, if shorter replace and move over one. The last one to remove is # 41 in the diagram. To make things easier I recommend removing the round inspection cover on the rt side bell housing, dropping a one inch strap down and go around the pump back up over the drive line and back out the hole and have some one help support the pump is heavy. PS make sure you don't loose one of the O rings while putting the pump back in. LOL need I tell you why !! Let us know how you make out... Jo
