2020 2-Stage Clutch

I got a chance to look into my PTO clutch issues and I can't figure out much. I can't feel the 2 stages of the clutch and when the PTO is flipped in gear it runs whenever the engine is on. The zerk inside the inspection hole is lubed and the traction clutch works fine.

Do I need to split it at the clutch and inspect this clutch mechanism? I've never worked on a 2 stage clutch before

I think this is the right diagram.

Thanks

How far does the pedal go down after the traction clutch is disengaged? It could be that the pedal adjustment is off. I'll look in the tech manual tonight and find the proper adjustment.

I've seen several of those stick in tractors that don't get used a lot.The main clutch will work, but the pto clutch sticks.

Any way to unstick it without a split?

I just bought this thing in February, and it was in an estate sale. It's got 3500 hours and was a loader tractor.

Sometimes you can hook the pto to something that will put a load on it and work the clutch. If there's a dealer around they could put it on a dino and make it pull while working the clutch.

I"ll have to check that, I do know it is only a piece of wire holding it on currently, like it came out on the previous owner recently.
