3010 Steering Line Question

Found a pinhole in a steering line on my 3010. Can I just put a compression splice on it to repair or should I replace the whole line front to back? I have used compression fittings on automotive brake systems with no trouble, but I don't know how much pressure the steering system develops compared to a brake system.

Thanks a bunch for any advice.

Yes the steering will have a 2250PSI working pressure,,I have drained them and brazed them, works out fine.

Ricky,

You should NEVER NEVER use brass compression fittings on automotive brake lines. The only type of fitting that should be used for automotive steel brake lines is DOUBLE FLARE fitting.
