Howdy folks,
My 3010 started loping the other day. Wanted to make sure there wasn't any air in the fuel system so I took out the middle bleed plug. Fuel did not start gushing out of it like I expected it would, but came out after a few manual strokes of the lift pump. Took off the upper bleed plug and pumped until just fuel came out there. But when I stopped, I could watch the fuel level drop back down into the plug hole. Pumped again, it dropped again. In my mind the fuel should just stay at the top level when I get the upper filter filled, but am I wrong? I put the plug back in and cranked it over for a while but saw no leaks. Where is the fuel going when I see the level drop back down?
Thanks very much for any advice. Sposta be cutting hay tomorrow.
