my newly purchased 2030 2wd overheats after 2-3 hours light work.
i have removed rad and cleaned and flushed, this helped a little, also new thermostat.
water pump pulley has around half inch of play not sure if this will cause overheating.
also when you pull stop button the engine stops instantly as if stalling it, i wonder if there is anything that could be putting engine underload?

thanks Brett

Some of those had a plastic impeller in the water pump that would break apart and hinder the flow, you gotta remove the pump to check it,,that would be my next move...

Complete agreement with the previous posts. New water
pump and pulley for certain. The alternator pulley will also be
worn and require replacement. Over tightening the fan belt to
eliminate slippage only ruins the bearings. When it's apart this
would be a good time to replace the front hydraulic pump
rubber dampener.

i have removed pump it has metal fan, has some play and is stiff to turn, so i have ordered a rebuild kit for pump, i also ordered coupling rubbers.
do you just pop old ones of and slide new ones on or is there a correct method.

Pry or cut old bushings off and apply dish soap to the bores of new bushings and slip them on the studs.
