Jim, will this wiring diagram fix my "clicking" problem on my 2940? Got the kit from Deere but no posts are marked on the solenoid. With this diagram i will move the small wire from the starter to the

Appears to me that is exactly the way I tried to describe to you to wire the added solenoid in one of my previous posts. I'd suggest using at least 12 ga wire from starter to added solenoid.
I will remind you to have a very good ground attachment for the added solenoid. Back when I worked for a JD dealer several service calls were made on late model 3020/4020's for no starting that the extra solenoid had simply lost ground.

With this diagram I will move the small wire from the starter to the solenoid and run a wire from the battery post on the starter to the solenoid.
