"A" oil pressure

Hi All,
Thanks to all of you it is running somewhat. I am waiting on the new idle valve. The question is how much oil pressure is too much? When running it pegs the needle at the H. When it is off the needle goes all the way to the left. Do I need to find an accurate way to measure it? Could this be
something or just a "710" error.

The oil pressure should be between 10 and15# warmed up. It should be set be set with a reliable numerical gauge.
