I think that is an optional spark arrestor on the D. without it they are fire breathing dragons !

I have seen a few pictures of the doubled up rear wheels over the years and also think of them as an option.

Did you see the video of the working Spoker "D" in "What I Saw Today, Corning Ark"?

I have two email addresses for William Wendt on my computer at home, I will see if I can access them. Bill gave me and Tractor Dan a tour of his tractors at his home north of Pulaski and he had a spoker "D" in his collection I believe. He also has Farmall 20 with duals. Look back in the archives for What I Saw Today, Pulaski Tn. It was a couple years ago I believe. I included some photos of his tractors at home with the show tractors. I've seen John Deere "G" with duals more than any other brand or type.
