I AM AN IH MAN BY NATURE . JOHN DEERE IS KIND OF GREEN OR ODD TO ME WITH THE CLOSE CENTER SYSTEM . WHAT I AM NEEDING TO KNOW IS THERE A WAY TO TAP INTO HYDRAULICS TO RUN A JOYSTICK OR SPOOL VALVE OTHER THAN THROUGH THE REMOTES? THANKS IN ADVANCE! JJ.

Nothing to it. On the RH side by the hyd filter there's a line coming out of the rear of the pressure control valve that's bolted to the side of the trans that supplies hyd oil to the SCV(remote valves). Remove the fitting line attaches to the supply line and install a tee in the valve & buy(if not already installed) a ported filter cover(part # T31170) or weld a return port in the the existing hyd filter cover for return oil.

CAUTION: be sure and use a closed-center joystick valve.
