Asking a question for my 7 year old son. What was the largest 20 series tractor made? Was it a 5020? What was the last year of production? Did JD make an articulated 30 or 40 series tractor?

5020 was the biggest 20 series 2wd.

8020, 7020, 7520 were articulates.

Last 2wd 20 series were built in early summer of 1972, prior to release of 30 series in fall of '72 (as '73 models)

6030 is technically a 30 series tractor, although still retaining styling of 5020/20 series.

Last 4wd's (7020, 7520) were built in late '74, some not sold until 1975. 30 series 4wds were introduced at Farm Progress Show in (August???) 1974.

Depending on who you ask, 5020,7520 or the 8020.
