working on a john deere 510 ag tractor with an early 300 series 152 diesel in it. (same as an early 1020)The crank has the wonderful rotating rear main seal, wondering what is involved in updating to a conventional seal. i have purchaced a major overhaul kit for this engine and it came with a standard seal and wear sleve, looking at the rear housing assembly all i need to do is have the housing machined to match the new style seal, clean the crank and install the wear sleve. My brother inlaw can machine the housing for me so it wont cost much. i would just like to make sure this is all that needs to be done
