In the JD B parts book Page 22 shows #34 B1854R bearing and #18 B1853R Shaft fork not available any more from Deere. Is there a jobber for these or can part # B1854R have a bushing put in. Any one tried?

I had mine rebuilt by Mike Williams in Spencer Iowa, He puts in new bushings, a new modern snap ring, and a new rivited on brake pad. Also if you send your shaft along with it and the pin holes are enlarged he can weld them up and redrill to the correct size. I"m sorry but I don"t have his number handy. If you go to the archives and put his name in you'll probably get his info. Hope this helps. Good luck Fred

any machine shop good enough to maintain a business can easily rebuild the pieces by welding up the worn areas & cutting down to proper size.
