'39 Styled B info??

Anyone have a way to find the manufacturing and delivery info on my '39 styled B, S/N 67746? I bought it about 200 miles from where my uncle sold his many years ago. I know there's a REMOTE chance it's the same tractor but it is a chance....

TIA,

Steve

By the math, your tractor was built about the second week of Jan 39. The only way to get the detailed info is to contact Two-Cylinder and request a serial number research. Cost is $35 and you have to be a member I believe.
Hope this helps

The Two-Cylinder research probably won't say who it was sold to. Most of the ones I've seen will show the branch house or maybe the dealer. If you don't know your uncle's serial number then you're probably out of luck.

I was hoping the research might say WHERE or what dealer it was shipped to but I didn't expect to find out the purchaser. There were quite a few '39 styled B's sold so it's probably not the same one but if it was shipped to a dealer near Pipestone, MN, it might be the one. I'm suspect I'll never know but at least mine is the same year and model as the one I remember as a young boy. That alone makes it special to me.

Then research info will give build date, ship date, branch house, final destination (town or rail shipment code number), and special equipment (powerlift number, wheel equipment). Nothing more and possibly less.
It will not give the dealers name or who it was sold to.
Hope this helps, and answers your questions.
