We're looking to build a B for pulling. Wondering what we could do to get good power out of it. Would it be possible to put A guts or bigger inside it? What has been done that works. Looking to take down some JD A's on the track.

what a DUMB thing to say! if the tranny is in shape & set to specs no amount of power will pop it out of gear, & thats a fact!

If you insist on bringing a knife to a gunfight, you need to bring a big knife.

To answer your question, yes, it's possible to put bigger "guts" into it than an A. It's possible to put bigger guts into it than a stock G.

E-mail for more info.

You will want to talk with my friend JD B Puller. He is making custom blocks and heads for the B, and is getting about 100HP out of a late styled B. I think he has it punched out over 400 cu. in..

I think that would be hard to beat.

Kurt
