531 was in 5010, 5020, & 6030 which was turboed on most but a few without. 619 from 4x4 tractors and ensilage cutters will fit it was made in several hp ranges. There was Caterpillar V8 conversions using a M&W adapter plate put in some 5010 & 5020 also some may have got put in scraper tractors.

Tim

It's cooled off some since you've been down here. It's supposed to be in the high 50's in the mornings next week. I'm ready for some humidity to GO.

Same way JD engineers think a small block 276CID can replace a larger CID engine.He-He

I was thinking about the 180 pto HP of a 466 in a 4840

Aspiration: turbocharged intercooled

Cylinders: 6

Valves: -unknown-

Bore/Stroke: 4.5625x4.75 inches [116 x 121 mm]

Displacement: 466 ci [7.6 L]
BTW my favorite CW song is "I'm purty good at drinking Beer"

how would a 466 be a replacement? One engine is a smallblock while the other is a big block.
